The Lightbulb Costume appeared in Francine Frensky, Superstar in the school play, worn by Buster Baxter. The costume is to represent Thomas Edison's invention of the incandescent light bulb. It started with air holes so that Buster could breath, but Francine told Brain to cover the holes so it would be more accurate. Later, Buster indeed could not breath inside the costume, but when Brain said it needs air holes, Francine objected and said it was perfect. When the others decided to teach Francine a lesson for being bossy, Brain had an idea to add a grate in the bulb so Buster could spray water at Francine with a squirt gun. After Francine reformed, it had normal air holes again.
