Koko Taylor (1928-2009) was an American Blues Musician who influenced musicians such as Janis Joplin and Bonnie Raitt.

She guest starred in the seventh season episode "Big Horns George," where she helps George learn that he can sing. Songs and albums mentioned in the episode, such as "The Earthshaker," were indeed from her career.

She is one of the only three guest stars to appear in Arthur who have passed away. The other guest stars are Mister Rogers and Neil Armstrong.
