Ken Scarborough is a writer on Arthur. He left production of Arthur after season 4. However, he has returned and is writing some of the newer episodes. He was also a story editor for numerous episodes of the program.

Since the early 1990s, Scarborough has written for numerous popular children's television series, including Between the Lions and Martha Speaks on PBSKids, as well as Doug and its movie Doug's 1st Movie. He also wrote a number of segments for the wildly popular NBC late night comedy sketch series Saturday Night Live.
