Jay is an employee of the Ten Spot Diner. He has been going to the diner since he was young, and now works there. He is kind enough to help the Reads use the phone, offer them what was left in the kitchen, and drive 2 hours to get the manager. He also informed David Read that he heard that Auberge d'Aubergie is overrated.
Trivia
- He is voiced by Michael Yarmush, the original voice actor for Arthur Read. His role is an on-topic appearance,[citation needed] as the episode serves as the 10th anniversary of the series.
- This trend continued with Rafi three seasons later.
