John Pierpoint Morgan was a wealthy American investor and entreprenaur of the late 1800's to early 1900's.

J.P. Morgan and Henry Ford appear in a flashback in the beginning of Elwood City Turns 100! where they attended the recognition of Elwood City as an official city by President Theodore Roosevelt. He, Ford, and Jacob Katzenellenbogan were business partners.
