"It's a No-Brainer" is the first half of the third episode in the fifth season of Arthur. It was later adapted into the book Arthur and the No-Brainer.

Summary

When Brain loses his cool and loses to Buster in the Math-a-thon, he decides it's time to give up his books and his nickname.

Plot

Brain believes that he is becoming "average" and switches places with Buster. He becomes an unfunny clown ,while Buster tries to be smart. Arthur and Buster stard hating it and try to stop Brain but he won't listen. In the end They bump in to the Brain and he drops some Math Books and arthur and buster find out that he was studying and reading the entire time, so he goes back to being a Genius.

Trivia

When Brain gets the math and writes "noosepapers", Brain may have been suggesting suicide when something is hard
