Idina Menzel

Idina Kim Menzel (born May 30, 1971) is an actress of stage, film and television.

Career[edit]

She is best known for her vocal performance as Queen Elsa in The Walt Disney Company's wildly-popular animated feature film, Frozen, as well as for being the original performer of the Wicked Witch of the West, Elphaba, in the stage show Wicked.

Her other roles have included the character of Nancy Tremaine in Disney's Enchanted, and a recurring role as Shelby Corocoran on the FOX television series, Glee.

Role on Arthur[edit]

Menzel voices Dr. Paula, a therapist who helps Brain in the episode "Shelter from the Storm."[1] Regarding her role, Menzel stated "It's such an honor to have teamed up with Arthur, particularly on a story as meaningful as this one. I hope that this episode can help parents and kids when upsetting events occur in the world and in their communities."[2]
