Edzel E. Crosswire was the grandfather of Ed Crosswire and the great-grandfather of Muffy Crosswire and Chip Crosswire. 75 years ago, he came to the shores of Elwood City with a dream in his heart which was to start a successful car company which he did called Crosswire Motors which was later taken over by his grandson Ed Crosswire after his passing. He was seen and mentioned in his great-granddaughter Muffy's video about the Crosswire Family History in the episode Arthur and the True Francine.
