Ed Billings is a friend of Grandpa Dave who appeared in "Grandpa Dave's Old Country Farm." He always offers to help Dave take care of the farm, but Dave says that he doesn't need help.
Ed also has appeared in multiple Arthur episodes. He first appeared in "Buster's New Friend" as a farmer on the Bionic Bunny Show that Buster and Arthur watch towards the end of the episode. Ed also appears in the "Buster's Sweet Success" as a man who says his wife bought chocolate from Buster and wants to return it because the chocolates tasted terrible. He was in "Arthur's Number Nightmare," driving a green car.
Ed also made a cameo in Arthur, It's Only Rock 'n' Roll. In this appearance, instead of his normal clothes, he had on a blue shirt, a blue jacket, jeans, and a blue hat.
