Crown City
Crown City is a fictional city in the Arthur TV Series. It is a parody of New York, New York, USA. George Lundgren walks from Crown City to Elwood City (successfully) in the Season 14 episode titled The Long Road Home. One interesting fact is that while Crown City is meant to be a parody of New York City, New York City itself appears in the episode Postcards from Buster.
General Information
Crown City first appeared in Muffy Goes Metropolitan. It is described as "one heck of a diamond by the sea", in a song. It has a professional baseball team called the Crown City Kings, that played the Elwood City Grebes in the World Series, and also a Crown City hockey team that played against the Elwood City Otters in the playoffs at the end of the episode Bitzi's Beau. Crown City is also known for their soft pretzels with cheese inside.
