A bust of Chopin in Mrs. Cardigan's house

Frédéric Chopin (Frédéric François Chopin, Polish Fryderyk Franciszek Chopin) was a famous and prolific 1800s classical romantic composer. Despite having passed away at the age 39 following complications of a long illness, he composed numerous compositions almost, though not entirely exclusively, for piano. His works included sonatas, waltzes, mazurkas, rondos and nocturnes.
