Mrs. Featherfoffer is a recurring character in the cartoon show. She was Arthur's babysitter from the past when he was a little boy, and Arthur disliked her the most, because she would force kids to go to bed whenever it was daytime. In Misfortune Teller, she was seen carrying groceries and paid Buster when he helped her out. In many later episodes, she is revealed to work at the Elwood City Times.
