Catherine Frensky (sometimes spelled Katherine) is the older teenage sister of Francine Frensky. Catherine most likely attends Elwood City High School.
Appearance
Catherine is a monkey with a brown complexion. She has long red hair and bangs, with her long hair tied into a ponytail. She usually wears a blue denim armless vest, a cream-colored turtleneck, and blue pants.
Personality
Catherine is almost the exact opposite of Francine: She's girly, likes wearing dresses, a very responsible person (unlike her sister), and she really loves to shop. She enjoys reading teen magazines and frequently uses the telephone. Like most sisters, Francine and Catherine go through various fights, like how to decorate their room in "Francine Redecorates" and who gets the last soda; but despite their arguments, they genuinely love each other. She briefly wore lipstick in one scene of "My Dad, the Garbage Man," and nail polish in one scene of "Stolen Bike," but she usually prefers to keep her appearance natural.
Friends
In "Muffy Gets Mature", some of her friends from high school are revealed, including Angi, Debi, and Tami. However, her friends have rarely appeared again, since.
Trivia
- In "That's a Baby Show!", while Francine is watching Dark Bunny at her apartment, Catherine says "Oh brother!' while doing her homework which means she doesn't like the show.
- According to "Vomitrocious", it is implied that Catherine is a 10th grader, as she mentioned a classmate named Lucas Hanson who vomited during math period in 5th grade, which occurred five years in the past.
- In "Citizen Frensky", her name was spelled with a "K". It is unknown if this is the correct spelling or not, because it has also been used with a "C" in other episodes.However, the name "Katz" is verry popular to the Jewish peoples, so it is still unknown which spelling is correct.
- She, like her family, is Jewish.
