Introduction[edit]

Mr. Ratburn is handing back Geography tests.

Mr. Ratburn: Francine, not bad. Sue Ellen, excellent. Muffy, Congo is a country, not a dance. to Brain: Ahem! Were you feeling all right when you took this test? You're a tad off your usual mark.

Brain: Hh! B-minus? Are you sure this is correct?

Mr. Ratburn: Yes, I'm afraid so. Don't take it too hard, Alan. You probably just had an off day.

Arthur: A B-minus isn't so bad.

Buster: Yeah, it's in the Bs. I love the Bs.

Brain: But it's only one grade above a C-plus. I've never gotten a B-minus before.

Arthur: You'll do better next time

Brain: What if I don't? If my brain is deteriorating? I could get a C next time! And then, in less than a year, I could be like... like... He looks at Buster.

In Brain's imagination, he, Arthur and Buster walk down the street. Brain wears Buster's clothers, Buster wears Brain's.

Brain: Arthur, Buster, look! A U.F.O. He points at a green blimb.

Arthur: It's just a dirigible, Brain.

Brain: A diriger-what?

Buster: You know, a blimp? Pause. A big ballon?

Brain: I'd hate to see the kid who lost that.

A boy walks by and throws a half-eaten cupcake in a trashcan.

Brain: Hey, look! There's still frosting on that cupcake. He starts eating the cupcake.

The fantasy ends.

Brain: This could be the start of something very bad.

As an experiment Brain wants the Tibble twins to put blocks through differently shaped holes in a toy house.

Brain: Ready, set... go! The twins throw the blocks at the waste paper bin. Stop! Stop! What are you doing?

Tommy: I'm putting the shapes in the hole. Isn't that what you wanted?

Tommy: No, Timmy, he meant these holes, like this. He tries to put a square block through a round hole.

Tommy: You're doing it wrong, Timmy! Use your feet! He jumps on the house. There! More candy, please. Brain stops his watch and writes on his clipboard.

Brain: “Find better test subjects.”

Mr. Ratburn: George, not bad. Fern, excellent. Muffy, Caesar Augustus was a Roman emperor, not a summer salad.

Muffy:Muddy crud?

Molly: Its called muticrude money bags.
