This page is about the secret language that Brain invents in Do You Speak George.

Brain invents this language because he believes that Oola is too simplistic and Arster-Buthur has too many irregularities.

Brain does not give a name for his language. However, it is commonly called A1Z26 cipher. It is a simple substitution cipher.

Rules[edit]

The letters of the alphabet are numbered: A=1, B=2, ... Z=26. When speaking the language, words are spelled out using the numbers.

Examples[edit]

  • jump -> J, U, M, P -> 10, 22, 13, 16
  • brain -> B, R, A, I, N -> 2, 18, 1, 9, 14
