Bowser is James's pet dog. He was seen and referred to in "D.W. Unties the Knot" in the Reads' House.[1] He only appeared in the dream of D.W. Read and thus may not actually exist.

- The dog's name was Interestingly, Bowser is the name of a character rather from Nintendo's trademark Mario games.
