Bitzi Lynn Baxter (nee:N/A) is Buster Baxter's mother. She is a single mother whom Buster lives with, and they both live in a condominium. Despite having divorced Bo Baxter, her maiden name is unknown. She is the the editor-in-chief of the Elwood City Times. She is voiced by Ellen David.

Appearance and Personality

Bitzi is an rabbit who is depicted with a white complexion and auburn hair, and wears

yellow glasses and a pink dress and wears a dark bluish-green coat over her dress when going to work. When she made her first appearance in the book Arthur's First Sleepover in 1994, she had blonde hair, blue glasses, and was wearing an orange dress with reddish-orange polka-dots. Her appearance was changed when she became a cartoon character, and this appearance remains in the later books, as well.

She is overprotective of Buster and is often frantic when problems occur, because she's trying her best to make him pass the third grade. However, her reputation has gradually mitigated in subsequent seasons. She dated Harry Mills starting in Btizi's Beau, and then broke up with him in Bitzi's Break-Up. Since then, she has not had a boyfriend.

Usually she wakes up really early on the days leading up to Christmas and puts out all the presents because she is worried that Buster won't have a good Christmas because his father is not around then.
