Bitzi Baxter is Buster Baxter's mother. She is a single mother whom Buster lives with, and they both live in a condominium. She is the the editor-in-chief of the Elwood City Times. When she made her first appearance in the book Arthur's First Sleepover in 1994, she had blonde hair, which was changed to auburn in the TV series and later books. In the Season 7 segment Pick a Car, Any Car , she is revealed to drive a poorly-functional light green mid-sized coupe. She is voiced by Ellen David.
