[[Buster Baxter|Buster]] discovered a '''comet''' in "[[The Boy Who Cried Comet!]]" He originally thought it was going to impact the Earth and wipe out all life, but [[Fern Walters|Fern]] realized that the telescope's computer was malfunctioning. It was later named after Buster, since he did discover it. It is mentioned in "[[Bitzi's Beau]]" where Buster pretends to talk in his sleep saying 'Comet is coming', and in "[[Elwood City Turns 100!]]" where it is mentioned in the school play.
The Baxter Comet is a comet that was discovered by Buster with the aid of Muffy's telescope on the episode,"The Boy Who Cried Comet". It has only been seen on the episode,"The Boy Who Cried Comet". Buster originally thought that the comet was going to impact Earth but when Fern found out that the telescope was missing a piece she found out that the comet wasn't going to impact the Earth. After the episode the Baxter Comet was discovered on it was never mentioned in the later seasons except in the season 8 episode,"Bitzi's Break-up" where Buster merely recites the phrase,"Comet is coming." to trick his mother into thinking that he is asleep. Other than that there have been no other mentions in the series.
