Arthur's Christmas is the ninth book in the Arthur Adventure series. It was written and illustrated by Marc Brown and published by Little, Brown and Company on October 30, 1984. Trivia
- This book also introduces Grandma Thora's dog Killer.
Notes
- This is the first appearance of Arthur and D.W.'s paternal grandmother (also known as David's mother) Grandma Thora Read, who is modeled after the author's grandmother with the same given name.
- In this book, Francine was seen sitting on Santa Claus's lap; but in the cartoon special Arthur's Perfect Christmas (as well as its book adaptation), her family is Jewish, which was a much different storyline in contrast to this book.
