Adil Akyuz is Arthur's Turkish Penpal. He is 8 years old like Arthur. They relate a lot. They both have sisters, and Adil's little sister likes the Turkish version of Mary Moo Cow. Adil lives in an apartment, he has a computer like Arthur. His father owns a store right below his apartment. Adil works for his Father at the store on weekends. Adil's little sister sent D.W. a turkish Mary Moo Cow CD and D.W. was listening to it with headphones at the end of the episode "Dear Adil" Unlike Arthur, who is an anthropomorphic aardvark, Adil is an anthropomorphic bear, as is the rest of his family.
