Stanley is Arthur's teddy bear. Grandma Thora gave it to him on his third birthday. Muffy owns a similar bear named Mr. Fuzz.

Desperately Seeking Stanley

He finally gives him up in a garage sale. This is where the Tibbles get a hold of it. Arthur worries, thinking the Tibbles would destroy him. He discovers that the Tibbles gave it to their Grandmother, and she patched him up. Arthur tells her she can keep it, but then he runs and take it back saying "Maybe I'll keep him this next week."
