Trivia
- It is possible that this episode will be based on the events of Hurricane Sandy
- Since the events of the entire series take place in one year, this would mean that this hurricane, as well as the Hurricane that hit Camp Meadowcroak would have taken place within the same hurricane season as well. The hurricane at Camp Meadowcroak probably hit between July or August and this hurricane most likely would have hit Elwood City in September or October.
Cultural references
- The United States Army Corps of Engineers is a real agency.
