[[Arthur Read|Arthur]] and his friends stop playing Virtual Goose and move onto Virtual Goose V5.0, an online six-player multi-player game that, as an added challege, features a Permanent Death system. So only one player will win. [[Alan Powers|Brain]] loses and is challenged as to whether or not he could survive out in the wild, so he starts a camping trip. However, his friends, and even [[Nigel Ratburn|Mr. Ratburn]], seem more interested in the internet.
As everyone else gets involved in another online game involving multiple geese, Brain tries to convince them to leave their computers behind and have a real-life camping adventure in the woods.
