Sara is a preschooler who made her first appearance in the episode D.W. All Wet along with most of her classmates (minus D.W. who appeared in Arthur's Eyes).
She is mostly seen at the Elwood City Preschool where other preschoolers like D.W. attends school. She has spoken twice throughout the series, which took place in the episodes D.W. All Wet and D.W. All Fired Up.
Sara is seen in the background of the episodes that feature the preschool and at times Lakewood Elementary School. She is nice to the other kids in her class and is one of D.W.'s friends.
Her mother was most likely seen in the episode Phony Fern although this could be contradicted as in the episode D.W. Beats All where the same character in Phony Fern is talking with someone that appears to be her real mother.
She also has a grandmother who she's told all about the Tibble Twins and how mean they are to her and her friends at preschool.

Sara is an aardvark with a brown complexion. She wears a yellow shirt with long sleeves, pink shorts, long white socks, and pink and tanned colored sneakers. She has long dark brown hair and has a pink bow on her hair.
