Season 1[edit]
In "Arthur and the Real Mr. Ratburn," Mr. Ratburn is seen as a performer in a puppet variation of the story. Mr. Ratburn performs Jack and an unnamed performer performs a talking radio.

In "Just Desserts," this story is strongly referenced as part of a large fairy tale crossover in Arthur's dream. In the dream, he has magic beans that he got in a trade with D.W.'s Mary Moo Cow doll. In disgust, D.W. throws the beans away, which land in a nearby hole and begin to grow into a giant beanstalk.
