Hello guys! Welcome to the first part of my {{Arthur}] series review. Starting with Season 1. I personally really like this season. While  I do consider the first 5 seasons the best, this would be below Seasons 2 and 3, and above seasons 4 and 5. My  rating scales are Vomitrocious, Meh, and Good. This is by far the longest season of Arthur, so prepare yourselves. At the end I'll tally the amount of Vomitrocious/Meh?Good episodes to rate the season, and use other trivia. Well, let's begin.

1a - Arthur's Eyes

Arthur tells D.W. the story of how he got his glasses, and the teasing he received.

This episode introduced me to Arthur, and uses some similar source material from the 1979 book.  Arthur first gets glasses and recieves teasing for it, and never really liked it that much. In fact in there are quite a few of Season 1 episodes with Arthur getting teased.  Overall this a pretty Good Episode.

1b - Francine's Bad Hair Day

Muffy makes sure Francine looks her best for School Picture Day.

Well first, Muffy is too demanding in this episode, and second, why couldn't Francine play kickball with her normal clothes and change to her dress in the girls' bathroom. Buster and Brain make some  jokes about Francine's hair, but why do I feel like she deserved it after the previous episode. Overall this is a Good Episode.

2a - Arthur and the Real Mr. Ratburn

Arthur and the gang are shocked when they find out thier third grade teacher will be the infamous Mr. Ratburn.

The misconceptions the characters imagine are quite funny, and is totally relatable. And we find out Mr. Ratburn is actually a good teacher. And this is definitely a Good Episode.

2b - Arthur's Spelling Trubble

Arthur practices for the Spelling Bee against Prunella (last years winner), and Brain (the smartest kid in his class).

The AARDVARK Rap is pretty fun to listen to and I like how supportvie Mr. Ratburn is considering how the gang felt upon first hearing he was their teacher. This episode is a Good Episode.

3a - D.W. All Wet

D.W. won't swim at the beach, because she is afraid of octopuses(octopi).

Yeah, I wonder how D.W. would fell if she met Squidward. Anyway, I felt the plot was pretty dry, but had enough funny scenes such as the answer to where sea mammals go to the bathroom and Arthur's prank on D.W., to make me consider this a Good Episode.

3b - Buster's Dino Dilemma

On a field trip, Buster takes home a fossil, though it is against the rules.

This is the first of many episodes to adress stealing. It becomes pretty  bland later on, but I like how it was used here. I especially like Buster's character in this episode. He is often depicted as dumb, but on the contrary he's pretty good with dinosuars and fossils. This was pretty funny. This is a Good Episode

4a - D.W.'s Imaginary Friend

Arthur and Buster don't want D.W. to bring her imaginary friend, Nadine, with them to Wonderworld.

This episode didn't make too much sense, with Nadine being there the whole time despite what Arthur siad...Anyway I think the barf-bags was a pretty funny gag. Arthur was a jerk and D.W. was pretty nice as to letting him have orange tickets. But this is a meh Episode.

4b - Arthur's Lost Library Book

Arthur loses the new Scare-Your-Pants-Off book: The Mysterious Hand

Yeah, this episode reminds me of when I first lost a library book. Anyway; The episode is actually very detailed and I like how Binky took the book and read even though he's known for not liking books. Arthur was pretty paranoid in this episode. The nightmare sequence is pretty good, and D.W.'s mystery hand jokes for the time cards are funny to, especially the end. This is a Good Episode.

5a - Arthur's Pet Business

Arthur starts a pet business to prove to his parents that he is responsible enough to have a dog

Another relatable episode. yeah, we have some gags here and there, and the end of the episode is really good. Not much to say about this episode, but it's definitely a Good Episode.

5b - D.W. the Copycat

D.W. becomes like Arthur to let him play with her.

After rewatching this episode, I'm pleased to say I actually enjoyed it. All D.W. wanted was to have someone to play with but Arthur needs his personal space, and it balanced equally. This is a Good Episode
