Arthur hated D.W, just as she hated him. One day Arthur invited Buster over for a game of checkers. So far, Buster was winning.
Buster: Oh, only 1 more round!
Arthur: Yeah, if D.W didn't try to entertain us.
D.W: ( singing) Arthur and Buster sittin in a tree, playing checkers ING!
Arthur did not laugh, but Buster did.
Buster: This kid can keep me entertained.
D.W: I'm not this kid I'm D.W.
Buster laughed agaIN.
Buster: Arthur, that is the funniest little Aardvark on earth, and the cutest!
Arthur did not think D.W was funny, nor cute. She was just plain old bossy D.W.
Buster's Mom: Buster, time to go home!
Buster: Sorry, see you and that entertaining little aardvark tomorrow.
As soon as they left, Arthur showed his bad signs.
Arthur: D.W, everyday you decide to ruin my life!
D.W: Do not! You decide to ruin my life!
Arthur: Do not!
D.W: Oh yes you do, you do it everyday.
Arthur: Oh, so riding a bicycle around while me and Buster are playing checkers isn't ruining my life?
D.W didn't reply. For the first time, Arthur had won a battle. The next day, Buster came over with his checker board.
Buster: Ready to check-check the board?
Arthur: Yeah I am!
D.W: (crying) Oh., Oh!
Buster: What happened, little girl?
D.W: Arthur pushed me! Ow! Youch!
Buster looked at Arthur with that 'You know why I'm looking at you' face.
Arthur: Brat!
Jane and David let Arthur go this time. After 5 months, D.W was 6!
Arthur did not like the way Buster described D.W. She was not funny at all.
D.W: I'm 6! 6! Oh baby, I'm 6!
Arthur: (whispering) 6 isn't a lucky number.
D.W: Don't push it when you can't woosh it Arthur the aadvark!
Jane came in.
Jane: Arthur isn't grounded, D.W is and Buster is not welcome in our home.
D.W started to cry.
D.W: What did I do?
Jane: D.W, you blamed Arthur for fake.
Buster: Why little girl, why?
D.W looked embarrassed. Then she started to cry louder.
D.W: Arthur's friend, your Arthur's friend and nobody likes me!
Then Nadine appeared.
Nadine: I like you.
D.W: Well your different, your family.
Buster: Little girl, I was your friend up until now.
All: Buster!
Buster: Find, but your just so cute!
D.W stopped crying.
D.W: Why thank you, I've thought about becoming a model when I grow up. I can just see my name: D.W.
Buster: D.W?
Buster laughed.
