Ursa Merkles is the mother of W.D. Merkles and the wife of Herman Merkles. Her only appearance so far is in Best Enemies.
Description
Ursa is depicted as a bear with a pale complexion. She has long yellow hair and wears a teal dress shirt, a medium-length dark grey skirt, and dark grey shoes.
Personality
She is a kind client of Jane Read's accounting business. After visiting the Reads' House she offered to let them stay at their mountain house north of Elwood City for the weekend. She is well educated; she is part of a book club and is readily able to identify fungi.
