Turkey is a country partly in Europe and mostly in Asia. Its largest city is Istanbul, which is where Adil and his family live. The inaccurate comic book Illinois Jack and the Caravan of Horrors is also set in Turkey. The ancient Greek historian Herodotus was from Halicarnassus, which is located in the present day country.
