Season 22 of Arthur has been in production as recently as May 2018. On May 25, 2018, Bruce Dinsmore (voice of Binky Barnes and David Read) confirmed that he had recorded new episodes, saying: "we've got lots more coming"[1] and "there's some good surprises coming."[2]

Dinsmore revealed that there will be a guest star this season, who is "an actress that everyone would know."[3]
