Popular Girl is a magazine for teenage girls as seen in the Season 3 episode Popular Girls. Its name and type is a play on Seventeen. Francine's sister Catherine is subscribed to this magazine, and the sisters both accidentally took each other's bookbags, and after Francine dumped everything out, her friends became aware of the magazine, and Sue Ellen and Fern became interested in the magazine to test how likable they would be, which would turn their friends away from them. After the magazine turned up ruined, the two girls later realized that they are too young to read this type of magazine and made up with all their friends.
