eetwater and Otis does fun things with the students than actual teaching that Mr. Ratburn does. She is the only third grade teacher who is married, but it is unknown to who her husband is, for he has never been revealed in the series, and it is unknown to whether or not she has any children. She was mentioned in the early books, but did not appear until in the cartoon show; although she is rarely seen when compared to the other third grade teachers.
