Susy Sipple (also known as Mr. Sipple) was the Read family's former neighbor who used to live next door to them. He is a rabbit. He is not married nor has children and lives alone. In D.W. Rides Again, when D.W. makes a face on her bike Mr. Sipple comes running up to her in his underwear and give her a cabbage explaining that where he comes from when someone made the face that D.W. made on a bike means bring me a cabbage fast! Mr. Sipple then realizes that he left the tub running and leaves. In So Long, Spanky when D.W. tries to stop Toady the toad from running away Toady runs into Mr. Sipple's backyard where Mr. Sipple is mowing the lawn with his lawnmower but luckily D.W. tells Mr. Sipple to stop the machine because he'll kill her pet to which Mr. Sipple stops his lawnmower and Toady is saved! Mr. Sipple makes a cameo in Arthur's Family Vacation as the man in the movie JAWS that the Read Family Go to See. In Arthur and Los Vecinos, Mr. Sipple moves away but gives Arthur and D.W. a present which is a plastic talking singing fish named Thelma who sang "Row, Row, Row Your Boat". In this episode, Arthur reveals that he is sad that Mr. Sipple is leaving and that when Mr. Sipple moved next door Arthur couldn't wait for him to go because Mr. Sipple liked to BAR B-Q Fish late at night and that Mr. Sipple liked to sing in the shower. It is unknown where Mr. Sipple moved to and what his status is now. In Desperately Seeking Stanley, D.W. tries to sell Thelma the fish to Vicita Molinia the little girl who moved into Mr. Sipple's House with her parents and her brother Alberto but Mr. Molinia says they don't have enough money to buy Thelma, because it costs $1,000. It is unknown if D.W. sold Thelma or not.
