Dr. Seuss's Beginner Book Video a.k.a. Random House Beginner Book Video is a 30-50 minute Video series where the creators from Random House Home Video's bring Dr. Seuss Book's to video, and the books are used as being on screen and characters of the pages are moving at some point as the story from the book is being narrated. There are also Non Beginner Books that have been brought to video as well Such as Horton Hatches the Egg, How the Grinch stole Christmas. Dr. Seuss's Sleep book. When the 12 books appear you will see layers of Characters fly to thier books which then makes the book glow and The Cat in the Hat is the last layer to get to his book and after the medley ends, a book will come to the screen as a narrator tells you the title and tell the story.

As the book on video goes on thier have been a few modifications and differences from the book to video, when a few characters are cut from the page in the book the designers have to use a layer of the same character from the recent or the upcoming pages of the book and put them in that scene to replace what was already thier, sometimes the characters may be near of far drom the object or person they might encounter with in the video. The subtitles have been removed or colored in cause the narrator is already reading the book telling the story so the video has no need for subtitles although, thier are a few subtitles depends on the main important word that is being told.

If a character opens or closes his or her eyes or does movement the character is used as a layer and thier are times the backgrounds on the video are different from the book or modified such as trees, houses, walls being a bit closer or some certian parts they cant get in or draw and color in what has been cut off from the book. Sometimes the character/layer is seen with another opject in hand or a face replaces with the same one weather he or she is facing from right to left or the other way around or they use another face or the same character and put it on that person on that page or if another hat is worn and so forth.
