L.A.F. is a Life-like, Automated Father. He is made of dummy parts and pieces from the robotic cat that Buster saved from the tree (Buster Baxter, Cat Saver ). It can stand, sit and read a newspaper. But it can only say "Meow" because Brain forgot to replace the voicebox. It short-circuited and exploded shortly after use.
