Koko Taylor (1928-2009) was an American Blues Musician who influenced musicians such as Janis Joplin and Bonnie Raitt. She guest starred in the seventh season episode "Big Horns George." Songs and albums mentioned in the episode, such as "The Earthshaker," were indeed songs from her career. She is one of the only two guest stars to appear in Arthur who have passed away. The other guest star is Mister Rogers.
