An unnamed teacher teaches the Japanese sport of Kendo at the Elwood City Community Center. He teaches a class of at least four students, five when Prunella attended his class. He does not teach his students how to use swords until weeks into the class, and starts off by teaching them how to breathe.
He later appears in Prunella's dream. He chases Prunella together with the cheese making teacher and the Czech teacher while telling her to breathe.
