In my recent inactivity, I feel we should really make some user rights changes here – things are a bit different than how they were back in September when Arthur Wiki was finally (and deservingly) granted with two new administrators. Now, people have made commitments elsewhere, whether it be in real life or on another Wikia community. In light of that, I propose we appoint a few new people, and perhaps revoke rights from a few people who no longer use them. Below is basically my plan, we can make changes to it as needed in the following days.

  • Miscellaneous: All existing user rights requests will be archived, this way everyone has a clean slate to request for rights once again. We will follow the rules stated, here. As soon as we come to an agreement here and discuss any changes that should be made, we'll begin the process.
  • Administrators: I think the four is a great number of admins for the wiki. However, we really only have one who is active daily anymore. Jacksonian has been inactive for over 60 days, and I think he should be given a friendly message, and if he does not respond in two weeks, his rights will be revoked, and we will elect one new administrator.
  • Fanon administrators: Now, the Fanon portal is a project that never really took off here, but nonetheless, I think it will be good to have a step in between admin and rollback to help serve the wiki. We currently don't have any fanon admins, and I think just one new fanon admin will suffice.
  • Rollbacks: We currently don't have any rollbacks, and we desperately need some. I'd say that 2 or 3 new rollbacks would do the trick.

That's all, feel free to support/oppose/adress concerns below. Annawantimes (Wall) 04:55, March 31, 2012 (UTC)
