Ferg is a cat burglar in one of Ladonna's fictional stories that has the same title. She was trying to steal Ladella's stories by taking pictures of her storybook, but Ladella caught her red-handed.
Like Fern, she is also a brown dog, but unlike Fern she wears a dark brown beanie and a black ninja suit.
The book that Ferg tried to steal was very valuable to Ladella and was a large blue book with a title that simply said "Stories".
