The Emperor's Cook appeared in "What's Cooking?" in Ming Tsai's imagination in the legend of the potsticker. The cook accidentally let the Emperor's dumplings cook too long, and was afraid the ruler would be enraged by his terrible mistake. Instead, the emperor loved the new dish and declared all his dumplings will be potstickers. His son helps him serve the meals, if not more.
