Ed Billings is a friend of Grandpa Dave who first appeared in "Grandpa Dave's Old Country Farm." He always offers to help Dave take care of the farm, but Dave says that he doesn't need help.
Ed also appears in two other Arthur episodes. He appears in the "Buster's New Friend" as a farmer on the Bionic Bunny Show that Buster and Arthur watch towards the end of the episode. Ed also appears in the "Buster's Sweet Success" as a man who says his wife bought chocolate from Buster and wants to return it because the chocolates tasted terrible.
