Doodle Dog was a fictional superhero aimed at younger children to help teach them important things like respecting elders and looking carefully before crossing the street.
Arthur idolized him for a short time and was going to dress up as him for a comic book convention, but after several kindergarteners told him that the show was for babies, he gave up on Doodle Dog.
He is a parody of Underdog.
