Dad's Dessert Dilemma is the second half of the 7th episode of Season 3. It first aired on November 16, 1998.

Plot

Arthur brings a cake his dad made to a party in Mr. Ratburn's class celebrating Galileo's birthday. Everyone likes the cake so Arthur asks his dad to make more, but this makes his dad run behind on his other orders. He realizes this after Brain's mom starts bringing ice cream to the school. A subplot has Mr. Ratburn attempting to get Dad's cake by pretending to try to give anyone who is having cake a schedule of Spring Reading, but his final attempt doesn't work when it turns out that Arthur and dad aren't having cake; they're making cakes for other people.

Trivia

Goofs

  • Galileo Galilei's birthday is February 15th, the day after Valentine's Day (February 14th); although there was no snow outside, since February is a winter month, and Elwood City is one of the places where snow comes in the wintertime.
  • Also, when Mr. Ratburn announced that Galileo's birthday was the next day, there were no Valentine's Day decorations in the school, despite that Galileo's birthday is the day after Valentine's Day.
