D.W.'s Very Bad Mood

"D.W.'s Very Bad Mood" is the second half of the 18th episode of season 2 of the animated children's series Arthur. It originally aired on April 27th, 1998.

Plot

Arthur and Francine are trying to find a reson about D.W. had being such a bad mood for days. During the course of this episode, D.W. takes her wrath out of everybody around her (those who won't deserve it). In the end, it is discovered that she wasn't invited to a girl's birthday party.

Notes

• Francine is totally mentioned to have a birthday party in this episode; but it had never been confirmed to when her birthday is. However, she is eight years old, especially when episodes or books would take place from the second semester of Arthur's third grade year.

Goofs

• In this flashback where D.W. is trying to get to the door so that she would tell her father that she doesn't want to feel any better, she would leave her sister Kate alone of this cause of her to cry for all that yelling and door slamming, since she and Kate both stay in a room.

• (D.W. is taking a bunch of fries)

• Mom: D.W., one single time!

• D.W.: You're always picking on me! You never pick on anyone else! Only me! Me! ME!

• Mom: You know that is not true, D.W. Everyone has to eat politely and that includes you.

• D.W.: That is NOT include me! You should NEVER include me. You really always make me stay home whenever there is anything fun! Only Arthur gets to have fun! Only Arthur....

• Francine: D.W., can I ask you a very important question?

• D.W.: YES!

• Francine: What's something matters with you?

• (D.W. gasps , she said " Oh my god", and then runs off of that crying while closing the door shut, Francine groans, & Mrs. Read sighs)

• Arthur: (To Francine) That was great! You really solved the problem!

• Francine: (About D.W.) I didn't think she'd get totally upset.

• Mr. Read: It's not your fault, Francine.

• Francine: (To Arthur & his parents) May I be really excused? (Goes upstair as she hears D.W. continues to cry) Uh, I'm really sorry, D.W. I did not mean to hurt your feelings. But you really are being a total doofus. If you know what I mean.

• Brain: (To Arthur) So, did Francine figure out what's something wrong with D.W.?

• Arthur: (To The Brain) No, it only made her alot worse! Last night she slammed so many doors and I thought they would get arrested!

• D.W.: I will not be silent! I'll be really loud as I want and..and you always can't stop me!
• Policeman: We need back up, fast!
