In the intro of "Fern & Persimmony Glitchet," Fern demonstrates how the story might not be as popular if the evil stepmother was nice, with Muffy playing Cinderella and Francine playing the stepmother.
In the intro of "Prunella and the Disappointing Ending," Marina poses a question asking how Prunella would like it if she told everyone the ending of Cinderella. Cinderella proceeds to come on screen and mention how everyone already knows the ending.
