Checkers is a common game Arthur and his friends play. In the episode A is for Anger. Arthur and Brain tried to take part in a Checkers tournment, but instead Muffy was entered and never able to particpate. In the previous episode Buster is Back, Buster Baxster favorite game is Checkers. In the episode The Ballad of Buster. Brain and Arthur was in a 100 game checkers tournment. Finaly in Arthur's Big Dig, Arthur and D.W. played checkers against his Grandfather Dave. And Arthur and D.W. found out that their great, great Grandfather Matthew was a shark in checkers
