Buster's Sweet Success

"Buster's Sweet Success" is the second half of the 2nd episode of season 6 of the animated children's series Arthur. It originally aired on October 1st, 2001.

Plot

Buster is fundraising for the school band by selling chocolates, but he ends up eating some of them and giving others away. Since he doesn't have the money to pay for them he opts to make chocolates, which are only worth of being joke chocolates.

QUOTES

MAN: Chocolates? I'm allergic to chocolates! Even the word "chocolate" gives me a rash!

(at the street).

FRANCINE: How are you doing?

BUSTER: Uh, not so good, but I've only been out for two hours. This bag will be empty by the end of the day!

(inside).

BUSTER: Five hours I've been down the main street and I couldn't sell one box! What's happening to me, Mum? I used to be someone in this town. I was well-liked.

BITZI: Maybe you just need a gimmick, honey. Something to get people interested.

BUSTER: What? I don't have any ideas!

TV: And when you come to Jack's Joke Shop, you get a free sample! How about a rubber snake? An eye that speaks? Some sneezing powder? A squirting flower? Or take all 4! I'm giving them away!

BUSTER: But that's crazy.

TV: Crazy, you say? Your eyes are crazy! And when you try me gags I know you be back for more!

(Buster thinks).
