Citations are references to certain things that verify statements made. On the Arthur Wiki, we ask that you include citations by stating where you heard certain facts about Arthur. All episodes, books, soundtracks, news articles, etc. can be used to backup information on the Arthur Wiki.

How To Cite[edit]

The easiest way to cite things is to include where you found it. Examples:

  • WRONG: D.W. once had the hiccups.
  • WRONG: In one episode, D.W. had the hiccups.
  • CORRECT: In Arthur vs. the Piano, D.W. had the hiccups.

How To Verify[edit]

If you come across information that doesn't have a reference, you may add {{cite}} to the end of the sentence and someone will verify whether it is true or false. This will show up.[citation needed]
