Arthur Wiki:Users
Users are people who write and edit the pages for the Arthur Wiki.
Anyone can become a user by clicking the "Create account" link in the top-right corner of any Arthur Wiki page.
Autoconfirmed users[edit]
Autoconfirmed users are defined as users who have had an account on the Arthur Wiki for at least four days and have made at least ten edits. New users gain certain rights upon becoming autoconfirmed. This rank was established as a way to prevent vandals from joining and immediately creating pages, moving pages, or uploading spam images.
Some rights gained upon being autoconfirmed at the end of the four day waiting period include:
- Creating non-discussion pages
- Moving pages and files
- Editing semi-protected pages
- Uploading files from a URL
- Uploading new versions of existing files
